Trying to decide about Fridays....and this lazy blogging, picture thing.

 

If you followed my blog many years ago...

...you know I used to write a "Fashion Tip Friday" each week. 

After a few years I switched over to "Wrapping up the Week"...quick recaps...fun music...and shared links like the fancy bloggers. Now I'm deciding...which one do I go back to? Or do I start something new? I know this is really important stuff that you're all losing sleep over...don't worry! I'll figure it out soon...rest peacefully.

As far as the lazy pictures..I really, REEEEAAAALLLY need to pick up my camera again. 

Put down the iphone..pick up the camera. Put DOWN the iphone...pick up the camera.

Apple has made it easy for us to snap "good quality" photos. I need to stop being lazy about it.

On the flippy, flip side....

 

There are things about the early days of motherhood that we moms forget.  Some examples. 

..how"easy"potty training was. ..how"easy"bedtime was. ..how"easy"it was to keep a clean house.

I speak from the gift of round two. Things are not as simple as I remember them to be. 

Potty Training is messy. Bedtime isn't always organized.  My trim and walls are covered with a variety of crayon colors and toys are scattered from one end of the earth to the other ninety percent of the day. 

On the flippy, flip side....I also forgot....

..how sweet it is to have a baby sleep on you. ..how exciting it is when they start stringing sentences together with words only a mom can translate.  ...how precious painted baby toenails are and the joy of a little boy finding ants crawling down the walkway on March 2!

Yeah..I'm completely smitten with babies and toddlers and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Happy March...spring is definitely in the air today on this fifty five degree day.
