One Blue Egg

1.We have one blue egg left....
It's been so cold my parent's chickens have decided to stop laying for now.
Silly chickens! Don't you know our spoiled family likes fresh eggs...not store bought!?

2.Cutie's Tangerine juice...it was our first time. I didn't really care for it...my kids and husband loved it.

3.It was SO warm yesterday! 23 degrees. So we washed the front window. :)

4.The girls came running down from of the attic...
"Mom! The ceiling and the nails sticking out are all frosty."
They grabbed my camera and took a few (around 10,000) pictures.

5.We're learning a lot in school these days...on Lego.com ;)

6.Happy girl ice skating.

Have you seen the movie or read the book .... 'Not A Fan.'?
If not....you should! Very convicting.
We watched the movie one Sunday with our church after service was over.
You can check out their website HERE.

One of my favorite lines from the movie...
"You know what separates the real from the fakes? Love."
So true...without love we are just a clanging gong.

Hope you're having a wonderful week.

  1. Yes!!! Awesome book - we went through the series last yr with our youth group. So convicting for sure- being a true follower vs just a fan!!!

The blue egg is pretty- I thought you were going to say it's been so cold the chickens are laying blue eggs. We used to have a lady in our church in cincy that provided us w fresh eggs and milk. You get used to it and it's hard to go back to store bought.

The frozen nail is cool. And I think I remember doing some classes w the kids on Lego.com when I homeschooled, or similar sites ;))

  2. Wow, I love that quote and it's so true. The "fakes" act out of self-interest, the reals act out of love for God and others.
That is one beautiful egg picture, too bad all the white ones are store bought. I feel your pain. I only have 8 chickens and get about 2 or 3 eggs a day if that. They are like gold to me. LOL
I know, lego.com is so educational! My boys are begging me to take them to the lego movie coming out. It looks cute.

  3. I will have to look for that book.
I buy eggs from a lady near us. I absolutely hate to buy grocery store eggs- they're so pale and watery!
    Your header is lovely!
