Satan is good..he is really, really, reeeeaaally good!

 

If you think you can beat the devil...you can't.

If you think you can outsmart the devil...you can't.

If you think you can overcome his demons on your own...You! Can't!

Satan...he is bigger. stronger. smarter. craftier...and much more creative than you.

You canNOT win against him.

Satan..he wants you. He wants a fight.

Whether you believe or not...he's coming for you.

Beware.

He loves to work quietly in the dark...where the pitch black makes it impossible to see.

He loves to hide in secrets...where no one finds him.

He is great at slipping in and slipping out unseen.

He's life's greatest fooler. 

You're not strong enough. You need help.

...I know a guy. 

There is only One..One who can win against him.

He actually will fight FOR you! 

You only have to hand over the war and stand behind Him.

He is stronger. He is bigger. He is smarter. He will win. That is fact.

“Therefore understand today the Lord your God is He who goes before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you.” (Deuteronomy 9:3)

“God is a just judge, and God is angry with the wicked every day. If He does not turn back, He will sharpen His sword; He bends His bow and makes it ready. He also prepares for Himself instruments of death; He makes His arrows into fiery shafts.” (Psalm 7:11

“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.” (Psalm 34:17)

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” (Isaiah 43:2)

The Lord goes out like a mighty man, like a man of war he stirs up his zeal; he cries out, he shouts aloud, he shows himself mighty against his foes.

 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. {Ephesians 6:12}

YOU can't win alone.

But with God...you WILL win! He promises.

Satan can go to hell..{literally..he will!}

Don't let him take you down with him.

If you've gotten down this far...God loves you.

He did not create you to leave you out in the cold, dark world.

He wants you. He is here for you....He is waiting for you.

Talk to Him. He's listening.

Not this week...but next.

 

It's sort of like my own little blog tradition...to write about how I'm not starting school yet.

This week every year, we almost always do a beach day...or some type of field trip. 

..but today is rain..and cold..and the whole week is covered in clouds forecasting cooler temps.

...and then there's Covid. Everything looks a bit different in the public world, doesn't it?

I thought about starting a few days early..but honestly, I'm not ready.

I also lost a child's main school book I ordered back in spring. Sigh. 

...a good portion of today has been spent unsuccessfully searching shelves and cabinets trying to locate it.

Two children did art projects and two were working their summer/fall jobs.

I'm thankful my kids have opportunities to have jobs. It's so good for them.

..learning to manage money and see the worth of a dollar...realize what it takes to earn it.

I'm looking forward to this next season. I always do.

I know so many of you are beginning a homeschool journey of your own this year..Enjoy!

Don't stress yourself..I promise you're enough and your children will do great!

Are we moving?

Do you see that jump above..off of the bridge?

...according to my husband we will be Montana residents within the next six months! 

He said ideally he would like to be there before the baby is born...however, that's only 15 weeks.

...we have no jobs and no place to live, but those are minor details he said God can work out. 

For now...{and most likely forever..wink} we are settled back home in the Midwest.

It feels good to be home and in our own beds.

Even though we don't have GORGEOUS mountains...

...there is a beauty in the corn fields and apple orchards and flat that I love too. 

I have SO many pictures...South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana!

Such beautiful, beautiful places. If you've never visited..you really need to.
