Wrapping up the week....Thank You! to all those who serve and have served.

It's been a whole week since I've been on here.
How did that happen?

I have enjoyed perusing Facebook all week....
..reading through comments and stories from both sides of the coin.
....being called an uneducated racist moron for my choice at the voting booth.

I wanted to get involved, but I didn't want to get involved in all the comment sections.
I have learned that no amount of fact presentation, no amount of talking {or arguing}
is going to change anyone's mind on social media and often times not even in real life.
People have their opinions...and unless you are sitting down having a civilized conversation at someone's dining room table, there seems to be only anger.

Moving on.....

What are you doing this weekend?
We will be accomplishing long past due projects around the house.
I'm making chili tomorrow night and pumpkin bread in just a little while.

The kids {and neighbor kids} are raking leaves for a sweet neighbor lady
who can't do much yard work on her own.

I'm also excited to plan out the next couple of weeks on paper. Yes! I still love writing on paper.
There is nothing like a good blue pen. and a handwritten schedule hanging on the refrigerator.

To all of the men and women who serve and have served in this great country of our's...
Thank you, Thank you..THANK YOU!!!

It's because of you that we live in a country where we can be free and have choice
and have a voice and so many blessings that so many don't even realize that they have.
It's because of your sacrifice we have freedom.

We appreciate you.
